This is our Monington & Weston Art Deco Grand Piano, dating from circa 1940 and presented in a beautiful natural wood case with a matching Art Deco piano stool. A particularly unusual and characterful instrument, the piano features the strong geometric lines and distinctive styling associated with the Art Deco period, from its substantial tapered legs to the stepped design of the music desk. The matching stool complements the piano beautifully and makes the whole set a real statement piece. The piano has been restored at some point during its life and remains in very good condition. It has a light and responsive action with a lovely mellow tone, making it very enjoyable to play as well as an impressive piece of period furniture. A wonderful choice for anyone looking for a grand piano with genuine character and something a little different from the more traditional black grand. It has been fully checked, tuned and prepared by our workshop team and is ready for its new home.
