Description

This is our Bechstein Model L Baby Grand Piano, manufactured in Berlin in 1928 and presented in mahogany case with 88 keys and 2 pedals. The Model L is a beautifully proportioned Bechstein grand, offering the character and tonal qualities of a traditional German instrument in a size that works particularly well in the home. This example has a lovely period appearance, with its warm mahogany finish, square tapered legs and distinctive decorative music desk. It has a very pleasant mellow tone with the warmth and singing quality associated with Bechstein pianos of this period. The sound is refined and expressive rather than overly bright, making it particularly enjoyable for lyrical playing and for anyone looking for a grand piano with plenty of traditional character.
