Description

This is our Bechstein Model 8 Upright Piano, manufactured in Berlin in 1925 and presented in a beautiful mahogany case with 88 keys and 2 pedals. The Model 8 is one of BechsteinÂ’s classic upright designs, built to offer the tonal quality and musical character associated with their grand pianos in an upright format. This particular example retains plenty of its original character, with an attractive traditional cabinet, decorative panel detailing and a wonderfully mahogany finish. Musically, it has the warm, mellow tone you would hope to find in a traditional Bechstein, with a pleasant responsive touch. At over 100 years old, it is a piano with real history and personality, both to play and to look at.
